Byron CG Jung Society

 Presents:

An Introductory course on the ideas of CG Jung

Topics: Archetypes of the Collective Unconscious, Shadow, Persona, Ego, Animus/Anima and Self

Ninety five years after the publication of his first book ‘Symbols of Transformation’ the ideas of Carl Gustav Jung are still radical and continue to provide tremendous insights for anyone wanting to understand the inner world of the psyche. Despite the fact that Jungian concepts have integrated into popular psychology few people really grasp what these concepts mean.

The purpose of this course is to benefit from an understanding of Jung’s psychology through an exploration of his original writings.

It is a general interest course and does not lead to a qualification.

Course leader

Marie Makinson: Jungian Analyst, member of GAPS (London) and UKCP

The maximum number of participants in the group would be eight.
