Ecstasy
is a universal experience documented cross-culturally from
earliest cave paintings to contemporary surveys. In traditional
cultures ecstatic states are a vehicle for the expression of
full humanity in relationship to the environment. Trauma,
whether personal, cultural or environmental, steals the
birthright to live ecstatically. This talk will explore how
psyche's natural healing process facilitated by analysis can
restore connection to ecstatic states and open the way into new
relationship with body, nature and community.
